Sterling Silver Labradorite Necklace | Cobalt Blue Natural Stone Teardrop Pendant

This pendant necklace is handmade from sterling silver and labradorite.  A Labradorite teardrop cabochon is set in sterling silver.  This natural stone has a brown-gray base with flashes of cobalt blue as light moves across the surface.  It has some superficial internal fissures on the lower left side that are visible from certain angles.  The labradorite is framed by a textured silver border.  I have made this unique necklace by sawing, soldering, and finishing the design entirely by hand.  The silver has been oxidized and polished to create an antique patina finish.

Pendant Size (Not Including Bail): About 24x28mm
Labradorite: About 18x22mm

The pendant hangs from a sterling silver chain.  The chain features a lobster claw clasp and a 3-inch extender allowing it to be slightly adjustable from between 19-22 inches in length.  Note that the total length is measured from end-to-end and includes all parts of chain and clasp.

The necklace photographed is shown at an 20-inch length modeled on a women's size S/M mannequin with a 14-inch neck circumference.
