Sterling Silver Dendritic Opal Necklace | Black & White Natural Stone Pendant

This pendant necklace is handmade from a genuine dendritic opal and sterling silver.  The natural stone cabochon has been cut into an oval shape.  It features a mix of black and white coloring.  The geometric design of the pendant is complemented by a sterling silver rectangular chain.  I have made this unique necklace by sawing, soldering, and finishing the design entirely by hand.  The silver has been oxidized and polished to create an antique patina finish.

The pendant hangs from a sterling silver chain.  The chain features a handmade hook clasp and a 3-inch extender allowing it to be slightly adjustable from between 16-19 inches in length.  Note that the total length is measured from end-to-end and includes all parts of chain and clasp.

The necklace photographed is shown at an 18-inch length modeled on a women's size S/M mannequin with a 14-inch neck circumference.
